Wizardry 8 with OpenGL render for PSVita [$45] #25

Hi there, Wizardry 8 is a masterpiece of the RPG genre. Thanks to its small devoted community, there is a tool for modding and scripting (CosmicForge 4.xx), so you can manipulate game files to some serious extent (there are already multitude of mods, and as of past 2 years one guy making fan-patch v1.28) Wiz8 natively supports OpenGL render, so i think porting for Vita is possible?, and it would be most appreciated.

Is the game open source and/or on Android? Cause if not, porting it would imply reversing it (and i doubt someone will ever do this)

Unfortunately not, but as i mentioned, there is a modding tool with great functionality. Tho some hardcoded stuff cant be touched much, almost everything else can be edited. Tho i have no ideas about reverse engineering, i assume it's only gonna be needed for compilying for PSV architecture ? Is there a way to bypass it by impleteming some sort emulation ? Like ExaGear emulator on android (allows to run some windows games like Diablo and Disciples 2) Game itself is not very hardware demaning, and 60fps is not a requirement.

Reverse engineering is required or either someone should port Box86.

This is highly unlikely, unfortunately. I recommend either reallocating the bounty to another, more feasible, project that interests you, or an already existing bounty on this page that you like.
