Emergency! Lost files due to cut and paste! #258

I lost my files several times using grive2. For a long time, I did not know what happened. Now I find out the reason. Every time when I cut some files from a folder A and paste them to another folder B, and synchronize these changes to google drive using grive2, it only deletes these files from folder A, but it never pastes these files in folder B. In this case, I have lost all these files. This is very terrifying! Can someone fix this problem as soon as possible?

If this happens even on your local hard disc, then whatever you use to copy and paste is to blame (grive knows nothing about that, only about files on the disc).

If the files are on the local disc, but not in google drive, then check your .griveignore file, it might be that the folder you are pasting them into is ignored?
