A couple of items that still need to be removed following the new logic of a single branch release-21.0 and norelease-21.0-rc1:
where the new branch is created, just need to create the one and no -rc1 branch
No -RC backport label is needed anymore
No need to copy branch protection rules for the -rc1 branch
Add step for updating vitess-operator's verifyVtGateVersion for latest version to the new version in vitessio/vitess:main (here to 22.0.0 from 21.0.0)
Need to create a new branch for vtop
Move the creation of the new release folder to the code freeze. This way, as soon as we create the new release branch and bump main to the next major release, we already have a documentation folder available.
