Being able to pause pre-rendered cutscenes would be nice, especially if in-engine cutscenes are going to be replaced with the HD pre-rendered ones.
Currently, pressing start during a pre-rendered cutscene skips it.
Instead, it should pause the game (and video player if the HD cutscenes are used) and give the player the option to skip it or resume (like how the in-engine cutscenes currently work), ideally by recreating the in-engine cutscene pause menu (or the HD movie version's pause menu) to be shown on top of the game while paused.
This could use melonds' built-in emulation pause feature to avoid desyncs, and ideally should be able to be toggled in the settings to preserve the original behavior (and for speedrunning).
