Hi all,

M4800 with Ubuntu 18.04LTS, HWE kernel 5.x, i8kutils 1.4.3:

Fans start at 0rpm. When I put the machine under load, they spin up to above 3000rpm, but when idle never fall under 2500 again. (TODO: revert to non-HWE 4.x kernel, check BIOS, but would like to hear if there is a general problem with M4800)

SOLVED: disables BIOS fan control. Needs sudo, so would be nice if this command set could go into i8kmon and if possible re-enable when a suspend event occurs, else the M4800 and some other newer modules won't suspend properly.
