This PR includes a minor cleanup for users of the default config. The port Regex was tried out in a past patch, but never ended up catching on and always caused issues for novice & expert users. This PR reverts config functionality back to the simpler and easier to both understand and implement config functionality.
This PR is fully tested with the default setup, extraction & retrieval setup as documented in the Wikis.
