Lets start listing the features the android app should have, we'll keep it as simple as possible.

Okay..Features as in? Like the search bar, button or like the list, or the quality of the search?

No nothing to do with the GUI, features mean what the app can do.

For example, here are some features I can think of:

  1. Provide results for search (like google)
  2. List topics of your interest.
  3. Add friends to one or more topics.

Oh! So apart from this..we have..if possible..that social networking thing..and?

So the 4th one you pointed was the sign in-out feature. Will try and work on the GUI.
