I would love to see this implemented as well. It is crucial for our website
implementation. Is there any timeframe for this?

Sorry, we can't say whether we will do this or what kind of timeframe it would
be
done in if we did.

Is it possible to use adsense in a seperate tab and if its not the default tab,
then
when someone clicks on a tab called ads, it would be related to the search they
performed. I have altered www.targ8.com to use AJAX. I guess if this cannot be
done,
then I have a great search engine without google ads, so everyone finds what
they
want quicker and easier....

any update on whether having an adsense tabe would be possible?

Our site search is realized with Google Custom Search and the result page
generate a
mentionable AdSense revenue. We really would like to use the AJAX API instead
of the
static search result pages, but without the integration of Google Adsense it's
a
financial problem for us.

Is adding Adsense enhanced searching possible yet with the Google AJAX Search
API?

not possible yet :(

You can now use the Google Custom Search Web Element, or write your own custom
code, and include AdSense!

How is this "fixed"? As far as I can tell, the Custom Search Web Element is
nothing
to do with AJAX. Please advise.

Hi Antony, the CustomSearchControl actually extends the SearchControl so there
is a
full JavaScript API backing the Google Custom Search Web Element. For
documentation
on the classes and methods involved, see:

Ah. The issue title doesn't mention the search /control/, but the description
text
does. I'm looking for a way to programmatically search Google, and return
results
*including AdSense* without having to use the Search Control (I want to use a
form
field already in place on my site for the search string).

I am also interested in doing what Antony stated. Specifically, I'm looking for
a way to programmatically search Google, and return results *including
AdSense* without having to use the Search Control (I want to use a form
field already in place on my site for the search string).

Is there any update?
