What is the motivation for your change request? Improved metadata of the ontology itself is needed to make it FAIR. It would allow for wider distribution, easier reuse and improved visibility.
Describe the solution you'd like An iterative process based on the suggestion by @SArndt-TIB in https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/VIVO/2024-02-07+Ontology+Interest+Group+Call and https://pad.gwdg.de/wl227domTnKLAmGFPuqfmQ?view#. We can start with metadata that is undisputed and easy to declare. Improvements can follow in later iterations. Based on the discussion in https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/VIVO/2024-06-05+Ontology+Interest+Group+Call it should be done en bloc, not one issue per statement.
