Patches documentation updates #2039

Various markdown updates to make documentation popups more readable - correcting typos, grammar and adding some details, shortcuts and boldification. Also updated test/controllers/documentationController.js to accept and_modulator.md code (now they match, so building will not fail.

i think i get what i'm supposed to do. first i isolate and_modulator.md and the test script out of this pullrequest and do a second pullrequest, once that's merged in, these will test alright!
