Figure out maintainable Samba setup

We got pretty far on this but hitting snags on Windows: https://devanswers.co/network-error-problem-windows-cannot-access-hostname-samba/ (might be fixed by https://docs.microsoft.com/en-US/troubleshoot/windows-server/networking/guest-access-in-smb2-is-disabled-by-default ?)

~On server reboot I think the password-less setup started actually working and thus Windows stopped allowing connection.~

~We should configure a default username and password potentially to log into it? The idea is to host a NAS for a LAN and not do any per-user authentication.~

Not hitting this issue anymore.

Tasks:

• come up with a naming convention for the shares (e.g. should the convention include the size or anything?)
• add the 250 GB SSD-based share (mirror RAID)
• add the 500 GB non-redundant partition as a share
• make sure that the drive lettering is consistent for the drive partitions (can be done in /etc/fstab ?)
• add an /etc/fstab mount point on Linux laptops
• update security settings on other Windows machines for access
• minify smb.conf so that it's more concise (avoid superfluous settings and all of the default-config boilerplate)
