LUA is becoming more lucrative to figure out local development for now that it's used by Vim for configuration and is used by other software for configuration or as a runtime API.

Things to get set up:

Seems simple enough to download LUA source and compile it. From here we should be able to get farther locally compiling neovim

I have a book on LUA that I should try and find, plus a book for the WoW addon programming. These are likely in boxes in storage so it might be worth making a run to get those
