Idle [R] always on #1779

I have looked and googled, however I have some challenges understanding the [R] status.

The Idle [R] status is always on. The [R] wasnt there some time ago, then I made changes (hardware and $$) and its there. Everything works. Is it a soft-reset alarm, and anyone knows why it would be on?

... still pending. Used a clone Uno - issue wasnt there. Got errors likely due to CH340 so putted the original Arduino back in - and the [R] in is there again. Same GBRL code/version and same $$settings on both unos. I cant find documentation why this [R] is on.

Cannot try this right now. Guys is there somebody else in here who've noticed similar issue?
