Vacancy, Announcements, etc #90

So there are a need in the our very special solution for vacancy and announcement posting.

I propose the following idea to cover our current need:

  1. Create channel in Telegram, for which everyone who is interested can subscribe
  2. In that channel, we gonna post Vacancies and Announcements, by using our pretty special template and schema
  3. We can start out posting process, by posting vacancies in main VLDC channel, also we can give most recent EXAMPLE template for vacancies via bot by /vacancyTemplate for example.

We can use two ways for bot to determine good post, that it should repost to channel:

  1. Admin replying to that message with /repost
  2. Voting for that message with /vote (dunno, could be usable sometimes), let's say we gonna post that once we get 5% of votes (300 * 0.05 = 15)?

The following problems can occur:

  1. We need to maintain relevance of vacancies, we can just remove not necessary stuff from channel, for it to look like some kind of a board (probably it will be better if we split vacancies/announcements)
  2. Probably some kind of TTL should be implemented, like marking vacancies with appropriate tags, and also some structured data, like #vacancy, so we can gather that and give to user via bot, or user can do search through Telegram client, also it is possible to make web interface later.
  3. ....

I think, there's also an approach to let anybody subcribe personaly just with bot. How the moderation will be implemented I don't know. But from user's perspective in bot chat it should be like:

/subscribe_news
/subscribe_events
/subscribe_vacancies
/subscribe_rag_fair

/unsubscribe_<smth>

After the registation bot will send the feed from selected themes to the subcriber (if there's new feed, ofc). Actually, it does not contrary to the channel, but emerge some additional vldc- expierence.

And yes, if we go so why don't we provide anybody with a rag fair? We're the IT folk, we have an enormous amount of useless tech stuff - I think times to times somebody would want to sell or just give some stuff to another person.

Why don't we also track the skills and other useful stuff from VLDC-members?

I don't understand why anyone would want to have their vacancy posted in some channel, to which, lets be honest, nobody will subscribe, when they already have posted it in glorious VLDC chat with over 9k members?
