Release Plan for Outreach Portal 3.0 :

General Guidelines

• All tasks are to be done against an issue on the GIT issue tracker and should contain links to the relevant documents.
• Narrative and literate style of programming has to be strictly followed.
• Code Review and commits every day from 5 PM to 6 PM
• The entire systems should be captured in a org mode document.

  Release I : 22nd June

Features deadlines and assignees :

• Create a repository : EOD 15th June - Thirumal - Done - https://github.com/vlead/outreach-portal-3.0 -
• Publish the current template : Thirumal - Done - Template shared with interns
• Data Model - I : Summer interns - Review @ 2:00 PM on 16th June User,Roles( OCC,NCC,Admin,Guest and reviewer),OC,NC,Institute,Sessions,System and Audit
• Data Model - II : Event( Workshops),artifacts (attendance sheet,photographs,feedback forms,reports,resource material),target( duration ,usage target and actual target) ,Status (planned,completed, reviewed ,rejected and cancelled) and participants.
• Requirements for all the entities and events : Thirumal - Review @ 2:00 PM on 16th June
• Object implementation with test cases for Data Model -I

  Release II : 29th June

• Object implementation with test cases for Data Model -II
• Persistence of all the objects of Data Model I and II ,
• REST implementation for Data Model I and II
• Login - Google login implementation
• Design freeze for Front End

  Release III : 6th July

• Front end implementation for REST of Data Model - I

  Release IV : 13th July

• Front end implementation for REST of Data Model - II
• Deployment using ngnix instead of Apache: to be explored
