Defect Description: In the My Documents page of Reference documents, when we upload an txt,doc,docx format files and if we click on the upload button an error message is displayed on the screen instead the uploaded files should be saved.

Actual Result: In the My Documents page of Reference documents, when we upload an txt,doc,docx format files and if we click on the upload button an error message is displayed on the screen.

Environment : OS: Windows 7, Ubuntu-16.04,Centos-6 Browsers: Firefox-42.0,Chrome-47.0,chromium-45.0 Bandwidth : 100Mbps Hardware Configuration:8GBRAM , Processor:i5,

Look at the file format in your screen shot above it is .tex not .txt. This is not a bug as file format validation is completely a done thing.

even if upload a txt format file it is accepting and when we click on the view button of the uploaded file it is opening a new tab with the dashboard displaying on the screen Then what about the doc,docx formats
