Invalid format file #57

I'm trying to install the Web Console package on my Synology DS916+ with DSM 7.1-42661 Update 2 and it gives me an invalid format file error

Any suggestion? Thx!!!

The format of packages for DSM 7.x is completely different. The way I am packaging the applications won't work anymore with the new DSM... mainly due to the reinforced security. It's blocking my "trick" to run web application outside the default web root, embedded in a window. I should rewrite the package to deploy the web applicaton into the default web root. That being said, I am afraid the Web Console will anyway be very limited itself on DSM 7.x due to security... Possibly try to copy web-console manually into your web server (source on https://github.com/nickola/web-console)

Thank you Valéry for the explanation. The same thing happened to me with the Hue package, and I think it will happen with several others :(
