This would allow making the UI a bit nicer and easier to work with.

Extension remains lightweight, this should not add too much size to the client bundle.
Check if using the full Vue/Svelte/React are viable, if not then lightweight alternatives e.g. petite-vue or Preact.

Framework choice is up to contributor preference.
