Is there still some active development going on?
The last checkin was in September 2012. I need at least some part of the 
functions for my own development.

Hello,

from scratch rewriten version has been published on GitHub. I believe that in 
one month new version will be better than actual beta.

At least, new version on GitHub supports asynchronous commands (like torch etc.)

Low level ADO.NET like API is fully functional, highlevel entity based API is 
in development.
