💬 Discussion

Players can control the partybot to stay in the air through "partybot pause" commands, as the bot is too far away from the player to teleport. The specific method is as follows 1.Summoning partybots 2.Input command ".partybot pause all 99999999" to keep the Bot on standby in place 3.Control the player character to stay away from a certain distance 4.Input command".partybot unpause all" to release bots 5.The bots will teleport to the player's head, which is crucial. Enter the command ".partybot pause all 99999999" again at this moment 6.The bots will stay above the player's head, and in the battle to avoid attacks or spells from most boss

I think this is not very reasonable. Players can bypass the boss principle and skill attacks to kill most bosses. There are many players in our group who use this method to kill bosses and illegally obtain a large amount of equipment.

This can be fixed by setting a timer for 10 seconds after teleportation to prohibit the use of pause commands.

I was unable to reproduce the problem. The bot still falls to the ground in a pause.

This requires a slight height difference. For example, in Molten Core, the terrain during the battle with Ragnaros. You can stand on one of the stones and pull the bot into the air without landing

Can you show it on video?

This is intended behavior. You can call playerbots to you in any location, such as in mid air. They will ignore pathing to reach locations; This allows them to get across gaps in places like Wailing Caverns. Do not call their pathing in mid air if you don't want them to end up there.

We are not talking about how to avoid this problem. We're talking about a glitch that helps kill bosses.
