getparam Example Please #4

I'm able to get most of the tutorial to work with a TMC1294 but would to see an example for getparam.

ROS serial node.py is not working with freertos_123( I made changes to cmakelist and code to make the code work with tm4c1294). The serial_node is not able to find the publisher.
