vmthunder is not openstack #1

though vmthunder is aiming to be merged into openstack, but vmthunder is not openstack.

the relationship is like curl and openstack.

vmthunder may be accepted by other cloud systems too, like eucalyptus, cloudstack, etc.

so, the introduction of volt saying "Openstack service to tracker the volumes in nova and cinder, also to provide volume attachment information for vmthunder service." is inappropriate.

For technical reason, volt can be used in all IAAS platform. But IMO, for some other none-technical reason, I think we should first keep it tighten with openstack:

  1. Our current task is to be accept by openstack community, this kind of intro may catch their interest.
  2. Some of the base modules are merged from openstack infra, such as oslo.

Afther all, to be accepted by other community, the non-openstack procedure can be launched in further milestone, I think.

actually, we are currently working on pushing vmthunder to other cloud systems, not limited to openstack. I'll talk to you face to face.

yes, we use some libs from openstack, such as oslo, brick, etc. But it's not a reason for us to be called openstack, and the libs are going to be released as standalone projects in pypi.
