Remove unused gems #103

Good to see the redundant gems removed - but wondering: why did you have to re-record the VCR cassettes?

@andistuder I tried pushing just the Gemfile commit (959f0c5) but it failed on CI. When I run the tests locally it updates the cassettes (without specifying a re-record). CI passes with the updated cassettes .

Although we could lock the cassettes with record once, I don't think that's a decent solution because it doesn't represent the real state of the world.
