need documentation on jinja templating with examples

There is very little documentation on jinja templating with salt on the site. I think this is one of the most powerful and crucial features of the system, and there is almost no information on how to leverage it.

Rather than try to fiddle with it, it would be excellent if there were some examples on Jinja templating.

• parameterizing an apache config file
• setting "environment grains and using them to apply variables from a jinja template to them
• etc

Also, there is no explanation of what this means:

• template: jinja
• context: custom_var: "override" on http://docs.saltstack.org/en/latest/ref/states/all/salt.states.file.html

This is a salt documentation issue, and a good one to boot :) Can you re-file this under the Salt project?
