Cleanup APIs used by zen-coding-plugin

This plugin is making use of a few apis outside 'scripted/api' hierarchy. Those dependencies need to be removed by either:

• eliminating the need to use them or
• abstracting out some proper api under 'scripted/api' and used that instead.
