Incorrect Greenplum versions with bundled PXF mentioned in Release notes #239

In the release notes, it is mentioned the PXF availability in Greenplum Database distribution as below.

The Tanzu Greenplum Platform Extension Framework (PXF) is included in the Tanzu Greenplum Database distribution in Greenplum version 6.x and in version 5.28 and older.

However in Tanzunet we can see PXF bundled with Greenplum 5.28 and above and also with 6.9 and above. The sentence in the document should mention 6.9 and above and not 6.x. Also mention 5.28 and above and not 5.28 and older.

this is referring to PXF that is bundled and installed with the greenplum server distribution. this is not referring to the pxf that you can independently download from a separate filegroup of greenplum on tanzu network.

bundled pxf was removed in 5.28.1. bundled pxf is still in greenplum 6.x (though it will be removed in the upcoming greenplum 6.19). i believe that the text is correct.

maybe changing the text to read ... included in the Greenplum Database Server distribution ... will make the distinction more clear?

the 6.2 release notes state: "The Tanzu Greenplum Platform Extension Framework (PXF) is included in the Tanzu Greenplum Database Server distribution in Greenplum version 6.18.x and older, and in version 5.28.0 and older." the 6.3 release notes do not include this statement.

i am going to retain older.
