Sounds cool. Can you please verify that it doesn't do anything crazy in terminal Vim? I don't expect the correct colors to show, but I want to make sure it's useable. If you don't mind checking that, this gets +1 from me.
@adamlogic Just checked both vi and vim, and the highlighting works. I have not seen any weird characters or display issues. The only thing I saw was that it was picking up the "white" in the CSS 'white-space' property.
+1 I say merge it.

This plugin highlights CSS colors inline, including hex, rgba and valid color names. I found it pretty helpful, especially when dealing with vendor CSS files.
