Set up Amplitude analytics for workshops #5

Got access from Bryan Freedman. Need to set up analytics that makes sense to see what the traffic is to the workshops

@mikegehard cool. Is this ad hoc account access, or are we able to login via Workspace One?

It was adhoc access. I'm trying to figure out how we can measure "success" and this is one tool.

Best bet for now is to use Google Data Studio to see how many hits the landing pages get: https://datastudio.google.com/reporting/facc827f-c01d-4d21-99c7-22c666299854/page/N4cYB

You can set a page filter for "contains" either "cnd-deploy-practices" or "cnd-config-practices".

I've also requested analytics out of Educates so we can better refine the workshops: https://github.com/vmware-tanzu/tanzu-dev-portal/issues/759

Moving to icebox again as we are blocked waiting for the above issue to get worked on.

There are no stats when filtering based from the tag or name of our workshops. I notice when searching for the workshop page via contains "Hands-On Workshops", I get nothing either. When filtering for "Carvel" I get a hit for its workshop.

This leads me to belief:

  1. We have zero traffic to the workshops... Which I disbelieve because I have hit the landing page and workshops multiple times. For reference, I put filter dates from April 1st until now.

OR

  1. That perhaps there is some other action required in the portal to enable analytics for our new content(?)

@billkable I had to change the dates at the top to this month because we just published them in April. For some reason it defaults to last month.
