Guide for "Converting a JEE App To Spring Boot"

It would be really great to add a guide that helps people prepare to convert a JEE app to Spring Boot. This could lead to additional content that helps people begin work and iterate on their work.

• What are key considerations / decisions to make
• What decisions should be deferred (ideally decisions should be made when they have to be made rather than prematurely)
• How can I start simple, and let the work inform the direction / architecture of the app
  • can I incrementally modernize the app (deploying the app to production throughout the period of modernization)
  • do I have to perform 100% of the modernization before I can deploy the app to production
• How can I avoid being naive about architecture?
• Are there tools that can help accelerate the more repetitive parts of the process?
