Are you trying to install it on fresh machine or you upgraded the machine?

I don't know. Zimbra was there (and upgraded many times), then I installed the package manager, and the the connector, with above results.

Yes, the servlet-api* files should have zimbra:zimbra permissions.

Had to chown the 'jars' directory too... doesn't seem too safe... does it?

Fixpermission script won't fix the permission for those files. You can set them manually.

Also for the last error, could you please send me the error logs from /opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log and /opt/zimbra/log/zmmailboxd.out

dhaval-vnc, I think your script wants to write a file in the 'jars' directory, so probably it's not enough to chwon the servlet-api* files, but also the directory they are in. And I think (but I am not sure) that the 'jars' directory better be root.root then zimbra.zimbra. Could you look into that?

Did you restart the mailbox after executing that command?

Yes, we restarted mailboxd. We'll try to follow https://github.com/irontec/zsugar/issues/2 next and do a whole zmcontrol restart. But I'll have to wait until business hours are over (eta 40 mins).
