Make Front Page more useful

I propose to make the front page more in the image of Netflix or the current ARD Mediathek Beta.

• Have horizontally scrolling reels of different kinds, e.g.
  • Current live streams (if any)
  • Recently added videos
  • Most recent conferences (all videos)
  • All videos to a certain topic (manually curated)

I am not yet sure if or how the concept of Reels is identical to extended playlists as proposed in #322.

I think it's a great idea to bring more life to the front page and something like the ARD Mediathek layout with reels seems like a good idea to me (even though I wouldn't want a giant spotlight like they currently have on their front page).

Content for those reels should be possible to have multiple types:

• Playlists like discussed in #322
• A list of conferences
• A list of playlists (e.g. for a showreel of mini-subconferences)
• Maybe some kind of news items? ("Coming to a media.ccc.de near you soon!")

Maybe there also should be an option to mix content, e.g. have a showreel for a recent conference which basically consists of conference talks but the bigger sub-conferences/tracks are summarized to a link to the corresponding playlist, therefore being a bit more friendly towards other talks of the conference.

It was suggested recently to:

• remove the news, as we don't use them
• remove the about and move it to the info page
• make use of the full screen width

I personally are always confused to have 2 search bars, but this maybe helpful to people not knowing the interface

I would also like to have the voc twitter feed (or mastodon) their.

Full screen width has to be done by somebody who has more experience with bootstrap than me, and might require a complete redesign of the start page by an actual designer...
