Hello. I am download live base musl image, use it via easy2boot project, booting, but maybe my mistake, choose first option for booting (not to RAM second option), setup booting good, but after that actions my flash drive was totally wiped. Why its can happend? Because i choose setup not to RAM and Void setup starting writing to flash drive? Can you explain please?

the "to RAM" option only loads the contents of the live iso to RAM when booting. in no case will it write to the drive, unless you selected the flash drive as the target for the installer

thank you for quick reply.

ok, but this bit unclear and leads to misunderstood my opinion. i have lots experience with linux live iso from other distros but such options " to ram or not to ram" I see it for the first time. I think first option must have warning that setup is write data to flash drive and leads to wipe it.

the first option does not write to the flash drive, you've done something wrong that caused that to happen

in both cases, the flash drive is not modified in normal usage
