VLC's menus cannot be operated with mouse #64

Amigaone X5000/20, Void ppc 32 bit

After updating my Void installation (all packages), VLC's menus cannot be anymore operated with mouse. If i click the menubar, a menu listing is shown but it is not anymore reacting to mouse movements or clicking with mouse buttons. The menus can still be operated with arrow keys, and items selected with enter. With esc I can close the menu listing.

The problem seems not to be related to the VLC version (3.0.17), as also an older VLC version (3.0.12) shows now the same issue.
