Thank you for PR. But some test case failed on TravisCI. Could you change PR code without change past test cases? And I would be grateful if you would add test case for your PR.

Emma and I worked on these changes, we fix the issues and submit the pull request again. Also we will add some test cases for the functionality we are trying to introduce. Thanks for the suggestions.
