With the scan mode I found the we517 and the ID With the run mode a lot of time the we517 is off-line but sometimes it works well for a couple of minutes and after that a longer time off-line

I have the same issue with that type of meter. The default timeout for MODBUS operations is to short for this device. PR #265 is addressing this issue.
