I am using an SMSL Sanskrit 10Mk II USB DAC with VolumIO, and it detects it fine. Though, I do not need to control the volume, so I'd rather set the Mixer to None, which work fine, as long as the USB DAC is set to the USB Input.
When I change input on my DAC, the RPI/VolumIO looses contact to the DAC, and when the USB input is selected again, it reconnects without any issues. But the Mixer control has been reset to Hardware.
In my search I saw that there is a file containing known DAC's (https://github.com/volumio/Volumio2/blob/master/app/plugins/system_controller/i2s_dacs/dacs.json) and I can see there's a field controlling the Mixer. I am aware that I can just add/change this settings by logging in to the VolumIO via SSH, but next time there's an update it will be reset - as I have tried making changes locally before. Is there another way to have VolumIO save the preferred settings, so it will load that setting next time the DAC reconnects?
Hey,
