Hi.

You responded recently to my excited YouTube comment saying to write here with an explanation of what i need the unit to achieve.

I am needing the midi box to analyse in Realtime incoming midi cc messages and then by pressing a button save all of the cc values as a preset. Ideally being able to name those files too but a number would suffice.

When i want to retrieve these presets i would like to be able to skip through them using 2 buttons and the send all of the midi cc values with a gap between each back to my hardware at the single press of a button.

I meant to also say that i need to be able to save lots of presets so would like it to be able to save them to SD card.

Hi Tom,

Sorry for the delay. The main change for your application is that you need the preset-box to not only send MIDI signals, but receive midi signals as well. This means that your effect box/instrument/keyboard needs to send those MIDI CC messages out to the preset box.

Unfortunately, the Moogerfoogers only read MIDI messages, they do not send the current CC message settings. Although, if you are targeting an instrument that has both MIDI out and input for the CC messages, then this should be possible to do! What MIDI devices are you targeting?
