Is vouch-proxy abandonware? #545

The lead author @bnfinet hasn't had any visible activity on GitHub in the past year, his website is 404ing, and there seems to no other active committers. The project is beginning to bitrot (as evidenced by the build related PRs), and I'm generally concerned about its viability for a new service.

Are there any active/reputable forks out there? Are there viable alternatives which support pure auth-only handling (not in-band data proxying such as oauth2-proxy) and which support receiving JWTs both as a cookie (for browsers) and as a bearer token (for APIs)?

This is a dup. Thanks for the kind words and I thank you for your interest in VP but I must be clear, this information is already contained in other closed tickets. Forgive me for being a little persnickety but reports of my demise are greatly exaggerated :)

I hadn't pushed a commit to my iOS GPS tracking app in about 4 years, but I and many others still use it every day. I'm finally just now doing a batch of updates on it. Just because a project doesn't have recent commits doesn't mean it's abandonware!
