Candidacy to user link for the backoffice #84

I chose to go with a collection for the profile in the end. It is linked to a candidacy and its' name is very explicit, but ugly too, is CandidateCandidacyProfile. If you want to change it, please let me know.

This is the new look of a propositions' tags selection using select2: As you can see, only the "terminal" tags are displayed as they are the only ones which can be added or deleted. (every tag except "Politique étrangère" in this example) capture du 2013-05-21 01 21 00

I have a question concerning embeds: An embed has 5 fields: title, url, provider_name, type, html. The only required element is the url.

Should the user fill in all the fields ?

@jrybak and myself worked on a design proposition for a candidacy's propositions' index and we came up with this:

Hey, sorry I'm a bit late. Yes, an embed is optional and the only required field is URL. Why? Because the behaviour of this entity is to enhance the content of a proposition by linking something. And this something can be a video, a web page, or anything else; and so not all the fields are pertinent depending of the type of content behind the link. I hope it's clear, let me know if not.

BTW I don't understand all the behaviours of your design. Even if it's looks great ;)

Concerning the embed, yes this is clear, thanks ! I am now wondering what field we should propose to the user when he adds a link to a proposition. Should we only make the url, the type and the title available ?

Concerning the design, we forgot to say something: The search can be done with one or both of the search boxes at the same time. The propositions, found by the search, would be sorted out using their low-level tag, or leaf tag (in opposition to root tags).

Hi,

Yes, the candidate should be able to add himself any content around the proposals.

That means : there should be

We'll see later to add charts (from Qunb for example).

Just to be sure, should a proposition have a maximum number of links ? or a limited number of links of a certain type, for example a video ?

It has been merged manually (need to rebase before), staging is coming.
