Currently the object markers are either too far or the whole hud should work differently. Read / experiment http://media.steampowered.com/apps/valve/2013/Team_Fortress_in_VR_GDC.pdf
Viewers won't notice in the video, but the arrows are entirely invisible, which probably is a good thing, but also the target and speed texts are barely visible.
