Hello,

The $augeas_version variable is not meant to be the $::augeasversion fact. The $::augeasversion fact contains the internal version number of Augeas (e.g. 0.10.0) while the $augeas_version variable contains the package version (e.g. 0.10.0-2ubuntu3), which allows to force the version of Augeas that needs to be installed.
