Release v2.0.0 #61

stahnma commented 7 years ago

After we close out #60, I'd like to import this into the PDK style of development, simply so I can learn that.

rnelson0 commented 4 years ago

@stahnma any reason we cannot move forward as is and add pdk later? #91 is held up by this.

yakatz commented 4 years ago

@stahnma Would you accept a PR with PDK, or do you specifically want to do it yourself (if that is really holding this up)? If nothing happens soon, we will need to move to another module/fork.

mmoll commented 4 years ago

Anything new here? :)

gsgatlin commented 4 years ago

Hello. Any ideas when this will be ready to push to puppet forge? Thanks so much. :)

mmoll commented 4 years ago

Ping? This is blocking EL8 for all other modules depending on this module (because using the git master is not always possible).

bodgit commented 4 years ago

It looks like @yakatz has released a forked v2.0.0 module whilst we wait for any sort of response: https://forge.puppet.com/yakatz/epel

rnelson0 commented 4 years ago

96 opened with the changelog/metadata updates. @stahnma please review and afterward it will need you to rake module:release it.

We just couldn't wait anymore. stahnma hasn't committed to this repository since 2018 and hasn't responded to any of the requests for a new release.

My fork is now being used by https://github.com/voxpupuli/puppet-openvpn/ and is being used in production in a university. Almost all of our puppet modules are internal only, so I wasn't sure how to best brand it on forge. Code is here: https://github.com/umd-cs/puppet-epel

96 is resolved and I can see a 2.0.0 release on the forge. Thanks @rnelson0 and @stahnma! 🎉 🍾
