what is the purpose of smtp_listen parameter?

Your own docs make the overlap clear:

• https://github.com/camptocamp/puppet-postfix#inet_interfaces A string defining the network interfaces that Postfix will listen on.

• https://github.com/camptocamp/puppet-postfix#smtp_listen A string to define the IP on which to listen in master.cf

The inet_interfaces parameter limits which interfaces postfix listens on. I see how smtp_listen changes master.cf, but it's really unclear what value this brings. When I change inet_interfaces which interfaces are listened on changes. These appear to be redundant. If not, documentation explaining the difference would be really useful.
