Could not evaluate: cannot parse line from list_policies #773

How to reproduce (e.g Puppet code you use)

Trying to apply the policy to rmq queus

   ~> rabbitmq_policy { 'ha-all@/':

What are you seeing

What behavior did you expect instead

Puppet run should apply the policy to the dummy queue.

I went through the issue #700, where @jstewart612 mentioned he found Stale rb file on agent and fixed the issue but not following the conversation. Could you please guide how to fix this Could not evaluate: cannot parse line from list_policies issue.

Essentially, my puppet agent had pulled the module into cache from the puppetserver, which at the time had a partially failed r10k module deployment of this module (Some of the files were from 8.2.0 and some were from 8.2.2). Somewhat unique comedy of errors and thus I'm guessing not broadly applicable as a solution.

Thank you @jstewart612 for your feedback. Since I'm using the updated version of rabbitmq module the solution is not applicable to me. Does anybody have any clue?

It may be a bug, though 3.3.x should be what integration tests run against.

I think it’s an env / shell profile issue, maybe, based on the error message.

Hello Guys,

Even i am using this module with version 9.0.0 and even i am seeing this error. when i run puppet for first time rabbitmq_policy creates the policies for the vhost requested for. in the next run i also see the error "Could not evaluate: cannot parse line from list_policies" when i do a trace back then i see this error,

Ran into the same error today on rhel 8.4 puppet-agent 5.5.22 module verseion 11.1.0

I believe #958 may have fixed this. Please reopen if you can still reproduce this with a recent version of the module and of RMQ
