I am also having this issue on OS X. Any ideas what the problem is?

tuxinaut commented 7 years ago

No time and passion to debug this problem. Workaround install 1.8.7 https://releases.hashicorp.com/vagrant/1.8.7/

mlt commented 7 years ago

FYI Same issue on Windows platform.

mlt commented 7 years ago

It looks like GEM_PATH doesn't include embedded/lib/ruby gems where faraday (0.9.2 on my system) resides. Also here is this bug reported upstream.

This is vagrant issue and patch from pull request works for me. It looks like we may expect an updated version. This issue can be closed, perhaps.
