Update: Switched the machine to Windows 11 (because other programs like fusion360 only rendering/running on e-cores): Sadly no difference. I was running VPX in the past with an i5-2400 without CPU problems - so what's the problem now?
Does your hmd work with wirtual desktop? If yes, you should switch to this
Could you please retry with a current 10.8.1 build (e.g. https://github.com/vpinball/vpinball/actions/runs/7261819593)? I tried to optimize some things i stumbled over, but no clue if this matches the overhead that you saw.

Since build 10.8.1 #2492, have there been any further CPU/script optimizations?
Hello, on most tables my CPU has much more workload (up to 2x) than on display mode, so most tables aren't playable. CPU: Intel i5-13400F, latest Win 10 Pro, 22H2 - 19045.3803 Lenovo WMR Headset (Steam VR beta2.2.2) RX 6700 (non XT, latest AMD driver) I tried several things (all things you can find in forums), like: all settings to low in Video (..but its not a GPU issue) disabling E-cores (worse performance!) Setting high CPU priority to VPX task disabling antivirus start as administrator... modifying SteamVR settings (but its not a GPU issue) Is there a further point, reducing CPU usage?
