This note would contain information industries in Rajasthan; Rajasthan Chamber of Commerce and RIICO.

Consortium of sub-regional trade and manufacturing bodies and association.

Its main objective include promoting trade and liasoning with state govt agencies.

However, services does not include much of govt advocacy and lobbying. (http://rajchamber.com/index.php/services/)

Next Steps:

  1. Get the list of firms associated with RCC.
  2. Likely scenario: this is a legacy institution officed by old connected people. They do some training/funding exercise once in a while but not much action. So where does that leave us wrt the project? ( I dont know yet).
  3. Characteristics of firm that are connected and what do they get out of it. I only know of export license ( but even that doesnt work, according to home dekor).
