Is this still an issue in version 2.0? We'd appreciate any reports! 👏
I also have this issue happen using Oculus Dash, and Desktop Portal (using touch mode), Any package using the VCC SDK, even if launched through Unity Hub instead
VCC v2.1.1 World SDK v3.2.0 Base SDK v3.2.0
Edit: Also affects Chrome Remote Desktop when using Touch Controls
Normally windows will prevent things like SteamVR from interacting with certain programs if they are in some form of admin mode, for example task manager is unable to be interacted with using steamVR. The odd part is the fact that it applies when launched through unity hub itself. Possibly a changed editorpref?
A user on Discord has reported that Unity projects to do not accept input via Virtual Desktop if launched through the VCC.
Comments:
The user was able to resolve the issue by disabling touchscreen support. (Though this leads to other annoyances, such as needing to click and drag scrollbars instead of using gestures)
I think this confirms that the issue is related to touch screen support, instead of Virtual Desktop itself.
Possibly related: Can't double click .unitypackage files if Unity was launched by VCC in admin mode (needs GH Issue Link)
