[Feature Request] Allow Favorite Management in SteamVR #511

Description of the Feature

Add a panel that works like the favorite page in VRCX desktop application that allows users to manage their favorite friends/worlds/avatars in SteamVR

Why is this necessary

As a world traveler, I use VRCX mainly to store worlds locally as I favorite a lot of worlds. VRChat's world favorite limitation is too small. Currently, I have more than 2000 worlds favorited.

The flow is like this:

  1. Favorite a world in VRChat
  2. Swap it from the online favorite list to the local list in VRCX after the game session ended or do it immediately after step 1

or

  1. Find myself in VRCX
  2. Favorite the world I am currently in

These operations are only available in the VRCX desktop application, I have to use SteamVR Desktop View or OVR Toolkit to do it. It is hard to do with a simulated mouse.

The current VRCX SteamVR overlay does not support mouse input. It will be rewritten once XSOverlay is out of beta with it's custom web application feature.

Sorry, I may have misunderstood Steam Overlay, I am referring to the SteamVR panel like OVR Advanced Settings, not the wrist panel, changing the title.

Ah, regardless that wont be touched till it's rewritten, I've used OVRToolkit/XSOverlay for years to favorite worlds and had no such issues with it apart from buttons being a bit small while in VR.
