Dear vreverdy, I watched your speech on YouTube, finding your bit lib is powerful!

However, as I am working on numerical cosmology, I wonder is there any changes using your lib to improve the speed of computing?

Could you show me some examples or hints?

Best, Shuo

Hey!

First, sorry that it took me so much time to answer. I have been traveling for work a lot over the last few months. For now, the bit library is still a very low level tool. It's more for system developer and low-level optimization than to be directly used in applications. However, in the next 6 months to a year, I am expecting the first applications to appear and serve as examples. In particular, in numerical cosmology, it can help speeding up data structures and compressing data structures.

I will let you know when I will have the first working applications. Thank you again for your message, Best!

Vincent
